A good, wet winter produces the best calla lilies. This past winter was no exception. Some of the stalks are over three (3) feet [one (1) meter] in height this year! What a beautiful shape and the texture of the flower is so delicate, yet durable. I hope you enjoy them.

Hey Seybold, nice lillies. Here is Oz those big lillies are known as Arum Lilly and round here they are a declared weed. There's an area just south of me where there are entire farm paddocks (fields) COVERED with those big white blooms. Its an amazing sight to see. We usually use the term Calla or Canna lilly for the little miniture versions that people have in their garden, they come in all different colors and the bllms are smaller then your fist. The Arum lilly is always white and as big as your whole hand....they are pretty though!
